Why we ask the licensure question first
A licensed facility and a medical office are different projects with different costs, standards and durations. The category is frequently assumed early by somebody without the standing to assume it, and tested for the first time at permit.
So we ask before we price, we ask for the answer in writing, and we decline to quote on an assumption. It is occasionally an awkward first conversation and it is a great deal less awkward than the alternative.
Containment that is measured
Infection control barriers are sealed assemblies including above the ceiling, held at negative pressure, monitored continuously and logged. The log goes to your infection preventionist rather than staying in our file.
A barrier nobody measures is a barrier nobody can rely on, and the people relying on it are patients who have no way to check.
Building around the clinic
We get the actual clinical schedule, by room and by day, and build the program around it. That is less efficient for us and it protects the revenue that is paying for the work.
A canceled session costs the clinic the income and the staff cost and the rent. It is almost always more than whatever the construction efficiency was worth.
